Im a single mom of 2 amazing boys. They are 11 and 12. I am originally from Wisconsin. Moved to NC 15 years ago. I am certified to teach yoga and absolutely love it. I also combine that with my previous TKD training and it has been an amazing journey. All my family lives in WI and my mom comes and helps out during the winter months. I have a German Shepard Mia who is also a amazing animal!!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My past career was starting at 13 years old at my moms Restaurant. Then from there I was going to run Disney World!! I went to school for hospitality and tourism. Unfortunately Im not a “classroom” type person. I want hands on through me in the fire. So as I was going to college I worked for Best Buy and they promoted me to a sales manager. At that point Kohls Dept. Store brought me on board after 5 years with Best Buy. Worked with Kohls and finished my degree and then moved to NC. Stayed at home for 8 years and then opened Blends & Bowls. I love Blends & Bowls because we change peoples lives!!!!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Lake Norman?*
I dont have a favorite. Each one is uniques and they all have different qualities! They film different needs.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Lake Norman?*
I have been here for 15 years.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?*
Someplace warm with lots of water around me!!!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
I would tell everyone to listen to positive affirmations everyday!! We need to take care of ourselves and no one else will. When we listen to something that makes us feel amazing and hopefully itll manifest i to the rest of your life!!
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Buying my mom her dream house. Small little house with a wrap around porxh.
Q: Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Yes. Mia. We bought her from K9 by Andy and she is absolutely amazing. Shes a German Shepard and protects my family but is also the biggest sweatheart ever!!
Q: If someone was visiting Lake Norman for the first time, what’s one thing you would tell them they HAVE to do here on their trip?
Go on the lake and just breathe and take it all in.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don't know about you?*
I received my black belt in TKD and it changed my life.
